Requirements to Volunteer

• Must meet the minimum age requirement of 17 Years old (With parental consent)

• Ability to pass a background investigation

• Pass medical evaluation

• Complete in-house training to become active

• Strong commitment to teamwork and public service

Onboarding Process

1. Submit an online application

2. Oral interview panel

3. Background investigation

4. Be accepted into the association 

5. Request to go active on the district side 

6. Complete a medical evaluation 

7. Start your training to become a Firefighter!

Benefits & Opportunities

• No prior experience required – training provided 

• Receive state-recognized fire, EMS, and rescue training at no cost (Certain certifications may qualify for college credit)
