History

SBFD operates out of a single fire station at 4657 Culver Road. The station was built in 1920 and had an expansion in 2006. The main station has two back-in bays facing Culver Road that are used for the first due engine (195) and the ambulance. A third bay along the Nixon Road is used to store the hovercraft and extra supplies for the department.

In the expansion, there are two additional back in bays that are used for the second due engine (194) and storage for the SBVFA.
